New here! I've been really thinking about joining the Dolphin EV group. It's an amazing little car isn't it? But I want to know the long-term expenses before making the decision. Does anyone have a serviced Dolphin? If yes, could you estimate the cost of the first three yearly services for me? Just want to know what to anticipate up front.

Around $190.

Service plans for new cars can be pricey. Dealerships have a lot of expenses to cover, and that's why the plans cost so much 🤷‍♂️

Dolphin's first three services could cost anywhere from $150 to $300 a year, depending on what needs doing and how much mechanics charge around your way. Some folks have even paid less. It's a good idea to ask your dealer about service plans or if they have any prepaid deals... might save you some cash.

The Dolphin's a great little EV! Smart to think about service costs. It's hard to know exactly what it'll cost for the first three years – it depends on where you live, BYD's service plan, and what your car needs (like tires and brakes). Hopefully, some Dolphin owners can share their service experiences. Calling your local BYD service center is also a good idea. I'm also curious about tire and brake life and any unexpected problems.
