BYD Atto 3 is family-friendly

My wife just picked up our brand new blue BYD Atto 3 and the fam is already loving it!
Here's our first impressions - BYD Atto 3 is great for families! Ride is smooth, the seats are comfy, and the massive sunroof keeps everyone happy in the back. Tech is pretty cool too. Giant touchscreen nav is easy to use and the headlights are insanely bright. Also, charging is quite fast. Overall, we're big fans now!

We just have a problem with lane assist coz it's a bit overzealous and needs a software update to calm down. The brakes take some getting used to, and the regeneration is basically non-existent right now. Also missing are a speed limiter and Android Auto/app store integration.

The 2024 BYD Atto 3 is a good, budget-friendly electric car for families. It can fit three child car seats, but two is more comfortable. It has plenty of space for passengers and luggage.

We’ve got three kids comfortably seated in the back of our Atto 3. Two in forward-facing seats and one rocking the rear-facing setup. The seats are snug, yep, they’re touching sides, but there’s still plenty of wiggle room for the kiddos. And the boot? Total MVP, it swallows up our pram and still has loads of space for all the other bits and bobs we lug around.

I agree with @thom144e. I highly recommend getting a full boot liner from AliExpress. It does a great job of protecting the cargo area from dirt, spills, and anything else you might bring in and out, like a stroller. It covers the floor and sides of the boot, and even the backs of the rear seats. If you have a rear-facing car seat, you'll definitely want some good back seat covers too. Our kid loves to kick the back of the seat! hahaha
