I've been having a problem with my 2023 BYD Atto 3. Condensation forms on various interior surfaces after driving and turning off the car, such as the seats, console, steering wheel, and roof. This occurs even when AC recirculation is turned on and off, and at various temperature settings.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any information about the possible cause would be helpful.

I’ve dealt with a similar issue in another car. Condensation usually happens when there’s excess moisture inside the cabin. Have you checked if the cabin air filter is clean and dry? Check under the floor mats or the trunk area for any damp spots, there could be a hidden leak. A clogged or damp filter could trap moisture and cause this issue. You might also want to inspect the door and window seals to ensure they’re not letting in humidity. Leaving the windows slightly open or running the AC in dehumidify mode for a few minutes before shutting off the car might help. Also, running the defrost mode for a while during your drive might help clear out excess humidity before parking.

My Atto was doing this. Staying on after I turned it off and fogging up the windows. And of course, this all kicked off right after that update.

Lucky for me, I figured out how to stop it from staying on after parking.
Just head to - Settings > Vehicle > AC > Internal Circulation in Parking > OFF. Problem solved!
