So I've been reading a bunch of reviews on the BYD Seal, and there all raving about it. Seems like everyone thinks it's totally worth the money. But now I'm curious, are there any downsides or issues people are running into with it? Does anyone actually have any real criticisms, or is it seriously as awesome as everyone says?

I had the opportunity to drive it. The steering is very light. The trunk space, however, is somewhat limited. On rough roads, the AWD felt a little jumpy, but the ride overall was excellent. The back seats provide plenty of legroom, but the low front seats limit foot space, especially for tall people.

The BYD Seal does seem to be getting a lot of love, especially for its price point and features. But no car is perfect, right? One thing I’ve noticed is that the software can feel a little clunky compared to some competitors. So I guess the tech is the suspicion here.

I haven't seen anyone driving a Seal around here, so I can't really comment. It's probably a decent car, but I wanted to go with a more established brand like Tesla. I wasn't too confident in the Seal, to be honest.

I haven’t driven it myself, so I’m not sure about any downsides or issues people might be facing. Not sure if there are any real criticisms or if it’s truly as awesome as everyone says. I’ll definitely look into it now that you’ve brought it up.
