BYD Atto 3 Android auto issue

Hi all, my homie recently received my BYD Atto 3 and loves it! But it is missing some features we’ve seen in YouTube videos, like Android Auto. The system is up-to-date, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Any help? Thanks!

I just got my car last year, and this problem started in September. I still don't know what to do about it.

sounds like the software version might be the issue. Some regions didn’t get Android Auto enabled right away. Try checking the infotainment settings for a system update or ask your dealer if they can flash the latest firmware.

A friend bought a BYD Atto 3BYD Atto 3 in Laos. The car uses V1.7 but it doesn't have any built-in apps such as Android Auto, Navigation, or Spotify. The only thing that works is Apple CarPlay but he doesn't have an iPhone to use it. The dealer couldn't help with this problem. He also tried to install apps but it didn't work at all.
