Just picked up my BYD Dolphin Design last Sunday. A bit of a delay due to a DVLA snafu with the number plates, but I'm finally behind the wheel!

So far, I’m really enjoying the car. It's got a great look and feels surprisingly peppy.

What are your initial thoughts for those who got their hands on a Dolphin?

That’s nice you have good experience. If you're a frequent driver, definitely consider the extended range model. It offers a significant boost in range, giving you peace of mind. While the standard range is decent, the extended range provides a more comfortable buffer.
Reviews generally praise the interior comfort and practicality, but some note a slight compromise in driving dynamics compared to the RWD MG4. I personally found it quite enjoyable, reminiscent of the Honda Jazz in terms of space and versatility. Ultimately, I opted for the Atto 3, but the MG4 is a solid choice.

Don't forget about the free charging offers! If you have the option to charge at home, it can significantly reduce your charging costs.

I was among the first people in Europe to see the Dolphin, and I'm happy to see that BYD has maintained its initial pricing estimates. The cabin is quite roomy, and I personally adore the insane decor (though I'm not a huge fan of the striped wheels.

BYD's confidence in the Dolphin's reliability is evident in its impressive six-year warranty, double the industry standard. Coupled with its strong performance in crash tests, the Dolphin positions itself as a reliable and safe choice in the EV market. Good choice!
