Just talked to a guy outside a resto we stopped over. He owns the parked BYD E6 we saw and turns out the owner has a long journey ahead and can only use AC charging! Didn't seem like there were many options on that route. Hope they have plenty of patience (and maybe a portable charger?)

It's not a 'cheap EV'- it's actually reasonably priced. Aussie EV prices are way higher than in China, where they've got the world's biggest and most competitive market. Better get your perspective straight or you'll be stuck at the bottom of a well!
